Sean decided that going to Santa Cruz for the day would be a great idea. Sean, his two co-workers, Seth and Mark, along with Ty and me set out yesterday to drive down to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Along the way we stopped a little outside of Pescadero and checked out the view from the cliffs. We got to Santa Cruz and decided to stop at a local farmer's market. While there we received an awesome tip: stop by and have lunch at Emily's Good Things to Eat in town. And we did and the food was amazing! Here's the address in case your in the area.

Then we went down to the boardwalk area and spent the next 4 hours lounging around on the beach and sun bathing. We decided to drive downtown and check out what they had to offer. There was a lot of restaurants and cool shops. We went back to the boardwalk and had dinner at the end of the pier. While driving back Sean decided to be spontaneous and turned off the highway when he saw a sign for a Straw Maze.
It was so ridiculously fun! It was almost dark out when we got there. We heard from the owner that there were two girls still in the maze and they've been there for the last half hour. It normally takes people 20 minutes or so to navigate the maze. Sean and I got separated for a while and it was almost scary. We met up again in the second big room and also ran into Ty and Mark. Seth was probably done at this point. Anyways, we ran around some more and finally got out of the maze. Whew! Those poor girls had been there for over an hour at this point.

Check out the Google Map aerial view. It's not the current maze, but it looks pretty cool. Make sure you are on the Satellite View.
We made it back to San Fran around 10 pm and the boys decided to go visit the local bar scene. That was when my day ended, but their's continued. I wish they wrote on here, but they are busy, I guess. Okay, that's it for now.
